Newt Sculpt

Latest Newt.

Newt Sketch

A sketch of the Newt that I will use as reference for my next sculpt.

Moto Cliq model

This was a class demo for a 3d modeling course I taught last year at the Art Institute of Salt Lake. The Motorola Cliq was the most crap-tastic phone I have ever owned, I hated it with a passion. But it was fun to model.

Santorum Color

Going to call this one done for now. As a wise man once said, gotta keep on keepin' on.

edit: changed some lighting and saturation a bit. :)

Santorum Color Progress

Spent a little time tonight blocking out some color on Rick. I suspect that tomorrow I will get him to a point that I can call him finished enough, so that I can take what I have learned and move on to something new.

zbrush lunch study

Speed sculpt of my tentacle dude drawing.

Santorum WIP

So far about two hours into this one including set up in Maya. I am hoping to finish up this bust with shirt tie and colors this week.

tentacle dude

Playing with prisma color markers before bed last night.

Santorum Sketch

Made this digital sketch today to use as a frame of reference for when I take another crack at sculpting Ricky.

The Newt

Another speed sculpt! Spend almost 40 minutes on the Old Newt. Enjoy!

Dr Paul Sculpt

Trying to get back into doing some speed sculpts in the evenings. This one of Ron Paul took about a pinch longer than an hour. Trying to shake the rust off of my zbrush. The one thing I really enjoy about the election season is all the opportunities for fun caricatures.

Dr Paul

Just getting a little sketching in before bed tonight.

Silent Film

A doodle of my teacher on the corner of my paper while taking notes during my Silent Film Class at the U.

Scary Crow

Yet another scarecrow with a pumpkin head.

Jacky Lantern

Been drawing a lot of scare crows as of late. Doodled this Jacky Lantern during a meeting today and put some ink on it while getting the twinners ready for bed. Halloween is the funnest drawing time of the year.

Cyborg Painting

For my work blog. Topic Cyborg.

Conference Doodles

A page of doodles while watching General Conference on Sunday.

Airplane Sketches

A page doodles from a recent flight with the family. Drawn with a baby in one arm and a ball point pen in the other. The twins were kind enough to let me draw while they napped, or the were busy kicking my pen and giggling.

cybuddy

A drawing from my bedtime drawing session last night. Made for the "cyborg" theme on my work art blog.

baby color

Digital sketch from this evening keep the blog from stagnating.
