Fun with Water Color

Today on my lunch hour I took a little venture to the art store and picked up a small portable set of water color paints. On top of that I picked up this little water color brush that holds water in the handle, you squeeze it and water comes out the brush end. This may be old technology to some of you but to me it was pretty darned cool. So portable! Needless to say I am pretty excited about it. This is my first little painting/doodle with the new set.

Milton

My In Laws rolled in to town yesterday from out of state. While visiting with them a made a doodle of my father in law Milton. I had a spare moment today amidst the Labor day festivities so I sloppily added some color to it.

Festival Sketch

A sketch while listening to a story teller at the Timpanogos Story Telling Festival today. I hope you don't mind that I only drew one of his legs and one of his arms. They are there, you just can't see them because they are lined up perfectly behind their counter parts.
