Saladmanders

Some doodles of Saladmanders, I've been having fun drawing saladmanders lately as the topic of the sketch blog at work is "newts". And yes, I know how to spell saladmanders.

#4

First day of work for 2011 today. It was somewhat lengthy, but extremely good. So far this year is alright by me! Here is a page of doodles to go along with it.

#3

One of the sketches that I made during a work meeting several weeks ago. Kinda thought it was fun.

JP

Hey look! I am two for two in 2011. I like to draw people during church. Typically I like to keep it discreet as some people like what I draw and some don't. I thought this one turned out fun.

Happy New Year

2010 has been a fantastic year and I am really looking forward to seeing what 2011 has in store. One of my goals for 2011 is more art posts on my blog. And unlike last year I plan on following through with it.

New Years weekend has been great so far, a chance to recharge my batteries, spend some time with my wife and family, work on some personal 3d art, and make this quick little digital doodle. More posts to come. Happy New Year every booty!

Something New

Started up a personal project to keep up on my modeling chops. Here is a little bit of it, updates to follow. Based on this concept by Joe Olson.

Mr Baldy

Some more watercolor sketching.

Scarf Man

I bought a little set of water colors a while back and have not used them nearly as much as I hoped that I would. I made this small scale water color in an effort to break them out and get back into putting a little color into my sketching.

Juan Turntable

Just to keep my blog updated. Here is a turntable of my Army of Juan character. I have been pretty busy lately and think I am going to call the sculpt done and move on to making the game resolution version, baking out, normals and making textures. Eventually I want to make an old Mexican village environment that he can call home.

Dr. Ronald Chevalier Lunch Study

Today's lunch study at work. Looking forward to more of these.

More Fish

It may be obvious from the fish posts, but I am eager to do some fishing this summer after things slow down at work.

Fish

Have had fish on the brain lately.

024 Sup with Jauny

Been working some pretty long days at work lately and really wanted to get something 3d posted. So I spent a little time tonight prepping Juan's subtools in zbrush. Hoping to spend the weekend getting his sculpt complete and begin on his low poly mesh. So, you should see some big changes in Juan this weekend.

017 Elephant Studies

Taking a break from lost characters today as I am feeling a little poopy after getting off work. Here are some elephant studies I drew during down time at work today. Also I am double posting these on a new work sketch blog AVA SKETCH
