A page from my dear friend Mr. Sketchbook. Occasionaly I get a visitor to my art blog so I thought that maybe I should update it with some some sort of art every once in a while.

VICTOR

Meet Victor. I have been trying to get some personal art done in between my many assignments this term. It is reaching the halfway mark and my class projects are not getting any smaller. I think I am keeping on top of everything much more efficiently then I ever have before so I should be able to find more and more time to work on some of my own stuff. Good times. I will post some of my class art work as well as it is completed. Good day.

Happy time!

Finals week has just ended and I am feeling good. Still feeling a little tired from the past couple days of getting projects ready for the last day of the term, I went 51 hours with only 30 minutes of sleep, but it was all worth it in the end. Here is the celebratory 30 minute self portrait.

An illustration I did in January for my sister Denise. She wrote a story for the local paper about the crazy stunts we would pull with our sleds during the winter time in the small town we grew up in.

Buddy

Little illustration I did for one of my sisters short stories. It is about her english bull dog named buddy, and the slobbermites who party in his slobber keeping him from getting the love that he deserves.

Time

This is not a recent awareness I have come to, but just thought that I would say it again. There is just not enough time in the day. I missed my portraits for a few days but I made sure to make the time this afternoon to sit down and paint for a bit. My day just does not feel right without it. Also I am posting a few recent cards.

here are a couple things that I finished yesterday that I thought I would put on my art blog. One is an art card and the other is a pencil portrait of my wife Catherine, it was a lot of fun to make. drawing is good, drawing is fun.

I have a massive headache.

Having a massive headache has nothing to do with this post. But I seriously have a big migrain. It occured to me that I have been drinking a lot of soda pop as of late, and then I stopped. I think I may have to go find some Mountain Dew to cure my aching head.
