This is a little personal model that got put on the back burner a while ago that I decided to dust off today and finish up in the next couple of weeks. Got the arms stitched on today. Next I will prep for zbrush for a little sculpting polish. Concept by Joe Olson.

Weekend zbrush study

The basement remodel just got finished, and with it came a new comfortable office space for Catherine and I. This is the first fruit of said space created this weekend.

Took part in the weekly Caricaturama Showdown 3000, and this was my contribution.

Romnibus 3000

Trying to pick up more speed on these sculpts, but mostly just having a lot of fun with these creations.

Crocodile study

Does it count as a lunch crunch if it was made between 11pm and midnight? Spent around an hour on this study. What I love about these speeds sculpts is how much I learn while trying not to think too much about each step and working as fast as I can. Good times, more to come.

Political Crunch

A lunch study during lunch this afternoon. In class last night I learned a snappy little technique for sketching out teeth quickly, gave it a go with this sculpt.

Moto Cliq model

This was a class demo for a 3d modeling course I taught last year at the Art Institute of Salt Lake. The Motorola Cliq was the most crap-tastic phone I have ever owned, I hated it with a passion. But it was fun to model.
